About The Society
The South Eastern & Chatham Railway (SECR) was one of the three principal railway companies that was merged to form the Southern Railway in the 1923 railway grouping.
The South Eastern & Chatham Railway Society aims to promote interest in the SECR, its two constituent railways, (the South Eastern Railway and the London Chatham & Dover Railway), and also its successor railway operations.
