About the Society
The Railway Correspondence and Travel Society is the largest national railway society in the UK, currently with around 2,800 members.
The Society’s areas of interest cover both the contemporary rail scene as well as the historical railway. A key characteristic of the Society is its very large branch network, currently numbering 29, each of which hold their own regular branch meetings.

Promotions
New member promotions occasionally apply. For example, for year 2021 (and part of 2022) a half price promotion applied at £16.50 for new members receiving the printed Railway Observer, and £9.50 for new members receiving the digital version.
