About the Society
The Railway Correspondence and Travel Society is the largest national railway society in the UK, currently with around 2,800 members.
​
The Society’s areas of interest cover both the contemporary rail scene as well as the historical railway. A key characteristic of the Society is its very large branch network, currently numbering 28, each of which hold their own regular branch meetings.

(£1 reduction if payment made by direct debit)
Promotions
New member promotions occasionally apply. For example, for year 2024 new members receiving the printed Railway Observer pay £28 and those receiving the digital version pay £10 (£1 reduction if payment made by direct debit).
