On Saturday 1 October:

 

- the Forum of Scottish Line Societies are holding their Fourth Scottish Railway History Conference at the Station Hotel, Perth. The theme is ‘Modernisation’. The cost for attendance is £23, to include morning and afternoon refreshments and buffet lunch. Dinner in the evening will be at the Station Hotel, 3 courses at £26.

 

- Great Central Railway Society is holding its ‘Kiveton Park Special’, at the ‘Backyard' behind The Station Pub, Kiveton Park, Sheffield S26 6NP. 11am:  'The Chesterfield Canal' by Rod Auton, 12:30 buffet lunch, 2pm 'The South Yorkshire Joint Railway' by Bob Gellatly.

- the Signalling Record Society is holding its Crewe Meeting online via Zoom, comprising a presentation entitled ‘Visiting Those Hard To Visit Places’ to be given by Graham Floyd.
