About The Association
The North Eastern Railway Association is a dedicated historical railway society for those interested in the railways of the former North Eastern Railway (NER). The Society is interested in the historical period of the NER, as well the successor railway to the present day.

The Association maintains an extensive archive of photographs, books, timetables, maps, plans, diagrams and other official railway document relating to the NER, which may be examined (by prior appointment) at the Ken Hoole Study Centre, at ‘Head of Steam’ Museum, Darlington.
