The North British Railway, headquartered in Edinburgh, became the largest of the Scottish railway companies prior to the 1923 railway grouping, when it became a part of the London & North Eastern Railway.
The North British Railway Study Group seeks to learn and record the history of all aspects of the North British Railway, its constituents and successors.
