About The Society
The Monmouthshire Railway Society is a long-standing railway society focussed on the historic county of Monmouth although its interests extend through surrounding areas including much of South Wales, Mid Wales and the English border region (including the Forest of Dean).
​
The Society is one of the most important historical railway groups in Wales still active today, issuing a quality magazine and organising a programme of monthly presentation style meetings.
