Midland Railway Society

About The Society

 

The Midland Railway Society is a society dedicated to all aspects of the former Midland Railway including its predecessors, successors and joint lines. The Society aims to bring together those interested in the Midland Railway, to research into its history and to disseminate information through available channels.

The Society, in partnership with Derby Museums, runs the ‘Midland Railway Study Centre’, part of the Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill.
