Worcester Locomotive Society
About the Club
The Worcester Locomotive Society is a group of railway enthusiasts dedicated to both preserving a number of steam locomotives and other rolling stock that it owns, and being a traditional railway club for members to meet, socialise and enjoy railway related events.
The Society is the owner of ex GWR pannier tank 5786 and a Kitson tank engine 5474, both now resident at the South Devon Railway, Buckfastleigh. On the social side, the Society is active in the holding of presentations on a wide range of railway themes.

Interest in the Society’s locomotives, presently based at the South Devon Railway
Magazine titled, The Big Four' issued quarterly
Programme of outings (pre-covid approximately 10 outings a year were organised)
Members only special train on the South Devon Railway

Hereford: Third Tuesday of each month (currently in abeyance due to covid).
