WC&P Railway Group
About the Club
The WC&P Railway Group is for people interested in the Weston, Clevedon & Portishead Railway although general railway enthusiasts are encouraged to join. The Group is dedicated to both the preservation of the remains of the WCP as far as is practicable, and to keeping the memory of the railway alive. As well as preservation, the aims of the Group include promoting an awareness of the heritage of the WCP to the general public.

‘Presentation style’ meetings on railway themes, six times per year
Newsletter, issued quarterly
Annual weekend trip
Occasional trips to places of railway interest
Meeting Days
A Friday in January, March, May, July, September and November (check website for exact dates).
Meeting Venue
Varies between:
(i) Weston-super-Mare (St Peter's Church Hall, Baytree Road, Milton, WSM, BS22 8HG)
(ii) Clevedon (St Andrew's Church Centre, Old Church Road, Clevedon, BS21 7UF), and
(iii) Portishead (Folk Hall, 95 High Street , Portishead, BS20 6PR).

(slightly higher fees apply if newsletters requested to be received by post)
How to Join:
The method of joining depends on the method of paying the membership fee.
If by cheque, download the membership form from the website (address as above), complete it and post completed form to WC&P Railway Group, 52b Down Road, Portishead, Bristol, BS20 8BH. If paying by bank transfer, credit/debit card or standing order, click into relevant section to pay, then notify the Group of payment by emailing confirmation to membership@wcprgroup.org.uk
