Matlock Railway Club

About the Club


The Matlock Railway Club is a club that was formed in 1968 for the benefit of railway enthusiasts, the intention being to organise meetings and social evenings for enthusiasts to get together on a regular basis.


The Club organises an intensive series of talks and presentations, and prides itself on being an open and friendly club.


Benefits of Membership


  • Programme of ‘presentation style’ meetings on railway themes, held twice a month (currently in abeyance due to covid)

  • Occasional trips to places of railway interest

Membership fee


Full: £4

In common with other groups, there is an entry fee to the presentation meetings, currently £2.50 for members and £3 for non-members.
