About The Society

 

The Italian Railways Society is a friendly society based in the UK for those interested in the railways of Italy. It is a non-profit-making society, with no formal constitution, interested in all aspects of Italian railways, railway models, and other types of public transport such as trams, buses and lake steamers.

Benefits of Membership

  • Membership of a society that is dedicated to the railways of Italy

  • Magazine, ‘Binari’, issued quarterly

  • Twice yearly ‘get togethers’ (usually in January and June) held at Keen House, Kings Cross, London

  • Access to library and archive materials

  • Access to on-line forum

  • Modelling aspect (including visits to various model exhibitions)
