About The Society
The Highland Railway of Scotland operated railway services in the Scottish Highlands north of Perth to Inverness, and railways radiating from Inverness to Thurso, Wick, Kyle of Lochalsh, Elgin and Keith, as well as associated branches.

The Highland Railway Society was created for those interested in the Highland Railway throughout its history to the present day.

Go to the Society’s website, and click ‘The Society’ (you can use this link hrsoc.org.uk/membership). Scroll down to bottom of the page and click ‘Membership Form’. Complete the form and send to ‘John Fairlie (HRS), Winter Field, Terrys Lane, Cookham, Maidenhead, Berks, SL6 9TJ, paying membership fee as directed.
