German Railway Society

About The Society

 

The German Railway Society is a friendly railway society for enthusiasts of German railways, and aims is to encourage interest in all its aspects. It was established in 1981 to generate interest in German railways, to provide an English language source of information, and to encourage modelling. All interests are catered for, including the operational railway as well as modellers of various scales.

The Society hosts its own model railway exhibition, Globalrail, usually held in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

How to Join:

You can join either on-line, or via post.

(i) On-line, go to the Society’s website, and click ‘Join the Society’ on opening page (you can use this link www.grs-uk.org/membership/). Click the left-hand box revealed ‘Apply online’. This will reveal a membership application form. Complete the form and submit, paying (by PayPal, credit card or bank transfer) as directed.

(ii) by post, go to the Society’s website and click ‘Join the Society’ on opening page. Click the right-hand box revealed ‘Download printable membership application form’. This will reveal a membership application form. Complete the form and post to the membership secretary, paying as directed.
