About The Society
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Society is an international group, based in the UK, dedicated to promoting awareness of, interest in, and support for, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, India.
The Society encourages and supports schools and colleges along the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in improving young people’s awareness of the railway that runs through their communities. The Society also supports the Darjeeling Railway Community Support (DRCS) the aims of which are to raise money in support of the health, welfare and employment within the Darjeeling Railway Community.
