Continental Railway Circle

About the Circle

 

The Continental Railway Circle is a UK based society for enthusiasts interested in railways outside throughout the world, outside the British Isles, including main-line, industrial and preserved. The Circle does not have a formal membership as such, and accordingly does not require payment of annual subscription fees.

​

The Circle has an extensive programme of presentation style meetings which have been run over many decades and which are acknowledged as being of high quality. The regular meetings are monthly in (save in August) in central London.

London: Second Thursday of the month

Stafford: Twice a year jointly with the Stafford Railway Society (to resume post covid restrictions)

Membership Fee

​

There is no annual membership fee. Members are regarded as those that buy a ‘season ticket’ at the start of the meeting season (September to July), which can be bought for just £10. This covers attendance at all Circle meetings during the season.
