Colonel Stephens Society

About the Society

 

The Colonel Stephens Society researches and publishes information on, and promotes interest in, the railways formerly managed by Lt. Colonel Holman F. Stephens.

Colonel Stephens has been described as the king of light railways, and was associated with seventeen light railways, many of which may not have existed without his involvement.

How to Join:

By post. Go to the Society’s website, click ‘All about the Colonel Stephens Society’, and then click ‘Membership form’ (you can use this link: colonelstephenssociety.co.uk/form). Print off the form, complete it and then post to ‘Sheena Baylis, 10 Cedar Court, Farrand Road, Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire HU12 8XL’, with cheque in relevant amount made payable to ‘The Colonel Stephens Society’.
