About The Society

 

The LMS Society is a study and research group dedicated to the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company (LMS) including its pre-grouping constituents as well as the London Midland Region of British Rail. 

​

Unlike most historical railway societies, the Society expects members to be active in contributing to its aims, typically by way of existing knowledge or skills, or willingness to research and publish.
